Worth stating plainly, because it explains how we price.
We clean, and we insulate attics. We don’t repair, install or replace HVAC equipment, and we don’t sell fogging, ozone treatments or “deep clean” upgrades. There is one standard of clean and it’s the one you booked.
Sanitising is the exception, and it works the other way round from the usual. We do it when a system genuinely calls for it — visible mould, a smell that survives the clean, water damage in the ductwork. It gets diagnosed on the job, not sold to you: it isn’t quoted on every booking, it isn’t a tier above the clean you already have, and nobody here is working from a script to talk you into it. Most homes never need it. If yours does, we’ll show you what we’re looking at, and the price is on the list like everything else — $99 per furnace system, flat.
That has a useful consequence: because we don’t sell furnaces, air conditioners or repairs, we have no financial reason to find a problem in your heating system. If our technician tells you something needs attention, there’s nothing in it for us — you’ll be calling an HVAC contractor, not us.
Insulation is the one thing we install rather than clean, so it’s worth being straight about where that stops. We do attics — not walls, and not vermiculite, which is licensed asbestos abatement work in Alberta and not something we’ll touch. It’s also the only service we won’t put a flat price on, because the honest number depends on your attic’s square footage and how much is up there already. So we measure it, photograph it, and hand you the readings whether or not you hire us — and quite often those readings say you don’t need us at all.
We also stopped offering gutter cleaning, so you won’t find it here. And we won’t clean an HRV on its own or quote a commercial building over the phone. Both of those are on their pages with the reasoning attached.
