I want To show you today how to make the perfect egg salad sandwich, it is very simple and delicious.

Growing up I always loved egg salad sandwiches, I look back and realize now that I was probably the odd kiddo the did actually admit to loving them. Over the years I’ve tried plenty of different recipes trying to perfect the egg salad sandwich and this one although pretty basic is still one of my favorites.

Heres What You Need

  • Three Eggs
  • 2 x Tablespoons of Mayonaise
  • 1 x Tablespoon of Mustard
  • 1/2 x Teaspoon of Tumeric
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Two Slices of Whole Wheat Bread
  • Sprouts
  • Sriracha Sauce (Optional)

Cooking Of The Eggs Instruction

Instructions for this one or pretty basic, first you got to boil your eggs so put a little bit of hot water in a pot enough so that you have 1 inch covering the eggs, add some salt and bring it to a boil. As soon as the water is in a full rolling boil remove it from the Heat and set it on a cooling tray Where you let the eggs continue to cook in the hot water for approximately 8 minutes for a medium hard-boiled egg. Remove the egg from the water and place it directly in an ice bath to stop the cooking process.

How To Easily Peel Hardboiled Eggs

The secret to easily peeling an egg is to dry it off first then crack on both sides and then gently roll the egg until it’s shell is fully cracked And the egg is separated from the shell membrane. You should be easily able to remove the Shell at this point.

Assembling The Perfect Egg Salad Sandwich

Cut your eggs in half and chop them up with a fork, Add a quarter cup of finely chopped onion, two tablespoons of mayonnaise, Teaspoon of mustard, and 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric. Add salt and pepper to taste and if you’re like me and you want to kick it up a notch add a couple squirts of sriracha sauce.

Find yourself a high-quality whole wheat bread, portion of your egg salad on to the bread so it’s about a half an inch thick, put some sprouts on top and your other slice of bread. I like to serve this sandwich up with a handful of potato chips. I hope you enjoy this perfect egg salad sandwich as much as I do.

And there you have it, the perfect egg salad sandwich. Now everyone’s tastes are different but I love this simple sandwich and have for years
