The Shops Here Run On Their Collection Systems

A shop that cuts, grinds, blasts or moves product lives and dies by its dust collection — and Acheson is wall-to-wall shops that do exactly that.

What a loaded system quietly costs

As cartridges blind and trunk lines bank material, capture velocity at the tool drops — and the dust that used to disappear into the hood starts settling on beams, panels and product instead. Housekeeping hours climb, rework climbs, and the compressor works harder to pulse filters that no longer clear. The system still runs; it just stops collecting — and the floor pays the difference daily.

Cleaning, honestly scoped

We clean collection systems: the collector internals, the trunk and drop lines, the settled material through the network. We don’t run your combustible-dust program, test your media or certify compliance — that stays with you and your engineer — but our findings and photos slot straight into that program’s file, and a clean system is the base every one of those obligations assumes.

Why Acheson books us specifically

Shutdown windows in the park are short and precious. A crew fifteen minutes away makes a Friday-night window real instead of theoretical — and pairing the collector with plant HVAC in the same window means the whole building restarts clean at once, one mobilization, one invoice.

The housekeeping tell

When sweep-up time creeps upward month over month, the collector is telling you where its capture went. Clean the system before the floor becomes the filter.

Scope

Scope: Acheson Dust Collection

Cartridge collectors

Internals cleaned and settled material removed — the workhorse units on most Acheson floors.

Baghouses & cyclones

Larger systems handled with the same discipline: internals, hoppers and transitions cleared and photographed.

Trunk & drop lines

The network back to every tool — where banked material steals your capture velocity.

Paired plant HVAC

The building’s own airstream cleaned in the same window, so the shop restarts clean end to end.

Facilities FAQ

Dust Collector Cleaning Acheson: Facilities Questions

Our job is the clean — internals, network and settled material. If media is past saving we’ll show you plainly in photos, so the replacement decision lands with real information; we don’t sell cartridges, so the advice is straight.
That’s the normal Acheson shape: in Friday evening, out before Monday’s first shift, collector and trunks done and documented. Proximity is what makes tight windows dependable.
That’s the default, not the exception. Evenings, weekends and shutdown windows are when most plant HVAC work happens — tell us your constraints at the site walk and the schedule is built around them.
Yes — commercial liability insurance and WCB coverage, with certificates sent alongside the quote so your contractor file is complete before anyone is on site.
Before-and-after photographs from inside the system plus written findings — damaged sections, filter condition, anything worth flagging — formatted for a maintenance or building file. Video duct inspection is available separately from $200.
