Home Pros Group has been cleaning furnaces, ducts and dryer vents across the Greater Edmonton Area since 2002. We’re still locally owned, still based in the tri-region, and still doing the same thing we started with — because it turns out doing one thing well is a whole business.
We’re based between Spruce Grove and Stony Plain, and we have been since the beginning. That isn’t branding — it’s the reason we can quote you a realistic arrival window and come back if something isn’t right.
A lot of the companies advertising for work in Spruce Grove, Stony Plain and the western edges of Edmonton are dispatching from elsewhere and fitting you into a route. We’re the ones who live here. Our customers are neighbours, and in a region this size that has a disciplining effect — you run into people at the grocery store.
Twenty-four years in, we’re still doing the same core work: cleaning the system that moves your home’s air. Furnaces, ductwork, dryer vents, A/C coils, HRVs. We’ve added commercial work, dust collection systems and builder programmes along the way, but we’ve never drifted into a dozen unrelated trades. That focus is deliberate.
We’re a QUADCA certified company, which means our technicians go through proper training so the cleaning is done to a recognised standard rather than however whoever showed up feels like doing it. In a trade with essentially no barrier to entry — anyone with a shop vac and a magnet sign can advertise duct cleaning — that distinction is worth asking any company about.
You’ll see the same names in our reviews because it’s the same small crew doing the work. Keith handles most of the quoting and scheduling; Eric and Bowdyn are the technicians most likely to be at your door. You are not booking a franchise and getting a stranger.
“Eric and Bowdyn provided exceptional service for our furnace and duct cleaning. They’re ‘that’ local company that goes over and above — a 10/10. I’d recommend their service to anyone in the tri-region and Edmonton area.”
The second list is the more useful one, and most companies won’t publish it.
We don’t repair or install anything, which means we have no financial reason to find a problem in your system. When our technician tells you something needs attention, there is nothing in it for us. That is a structural difference, not a promise — and it’s worth considering when a company that does sell equipment tells you your equipment needs replacing.
$345 + GST for a single furnace and all of its ducting.
If you tell us what you have on the phone, the number we give you is the number you pay. Everything that could change it — a second furnace, zones, an HRV, a roof-exhausting dryer vent, a bird nest — is published with a price beside it. We ask about all of them before we come. There is no discovery phase where the price moves.
Our technicians photograph the inside of your system before and after. Duct cleaning happens inside walls you cannot look into, which makes it very easy to charge for and not really do. Photographs are the only honest answer to that, and they’re standard on every job.
The system goes under suction before anything is agitated, so debris leaves the house instead of being redistributed through it. This is the step that separates a real clean from a fast one, and it’s the step that gets skipped when the price is too low to support the time.
Floors and furniture protected, tidy work, cleaned up before we go. It shows up in our reviews more than the technical stuff does, which tells you something about what people actually notice.
“Keith was professional, friendly, quick and thorough! He’s competitively priced and even showed us before and after pictures of our ducts once he was done. We will absolutely be recommending and calling him again in the future.”
